LEADERSHIP
A Personal Note from State Apostolic Leader, Pastor Barbara Yoder
The Michigan Apostolic Alliance has operated since 1997 when I accepted the responsibility to coordinate efforts for the State of Michigan. I was asked to oversee the Great Lakes Midwest in addition to serving on the national apostolic council for the Global Apostolic Prayer Network. I believe in the call God gave me personally to see our state and nation revived. I know you believe it as well, because of the many prayer and leadership partnerships that continue to develop within our state and the sectors of community that are now connecting (government, religious, business, education, law, etc.).
For over ten years we have gathered as a state and Great Lakes region for key events and initiatives which are causing shifts in our land and the nations within. I believe the Church is becoming a great force on earth and we are heading into our finest hours. We have come far over these past ten years, including making inroads into the strongest Islamic stronghold outside of the Middle East.
We are transitioning from a prayer movement focus to a broader forum of statewide leaders in order to communicate ideas and strategies for transforming our state. We are multiplying our efforts to embrace that which will include fervent believing prayer for change as well as mobilize a revolutionary advancement of God's kingdom through apostolic and prophetic leadership. I am leading the apostolic leadership forum. Cindy Williams is directing statewide prayer efforts. Two key groups are essential to see Michigan break through: intercessory leaders and church/marketplace leaders. Marketplace leaders include key people in government, education, business and communication/media.
Looking ahead, I believe we need to have great expectation for what God is about to release over us as a territory. Simply believe in this season. Michigan is positioned to break through to a new place. We agree with Chuck Pierce that Michigan is the key to our nation this year.
