Building a Wall in Prayer Around Dearborn
Our goal is to raise up a wall of prayer around the Islamic stronghold in our nation. Dearborn symbolizes this stronghold. God responds to prayer. He said “ask and keep on asking,” and it will be given to you. We are working to mobilize enough prayer teams to build a wall of prayer around Dearborn every day for 3 hours, 365 days a year. We are asking God for the hearts of people captured by Islam.
Psalms 2:8 instructs us to ask God to give us the heathen for our inheritance. We need 365 prayer teams from across the state of Michigan, or 138 teams to go in 2 times in 1 year, or 69 teams to go in 4 times. These teams will be filled with bold faith, kingdom minded and abandoned to God for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. Can we as a faith community not do this? Imagine the miraculous breakthrough that will happen through this effort! God does nothing except in response to believing prayer.
What would happen if God began to invade the Islamic community with dreams and visions, personal encounters with God, healing and miracles, all of which lead them to a revelation of and faith in Jesus Christ? God is challenging us, the church, to become THE CHURCH, to break through to a harvest of souls for the Kingdom. The Church of Acts was bold and daring. The apostle, Paul, invaded territory after territory with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is restoring this kind of passion in His Church.
Transformation
We have entered a season of transformation. In 1 Cor 15:24-28, Paul said that Jesus would deliver the kingdom to the Father. We know that since Jesus’ ascension, everything God does on earth is through His church. That means you and I are candidates to take the kingdoms of this world for Jesus Christ. Kingdoms are realms of rule and authority. There are governmental or political kingdoms, financial kingdoms, religious kingdoms and so forth. When Jesus returns, one Kingdom, the Kingdom of God will have emerged triumphant. Jesus will present it to the Father.
Romans 12:2 declares we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. This follows verse 1 which challenges us to present ourselves as living sacrifices. In other words, can we abandon our agenda to give ourselves away to God to accomplish His agenda? Of course we can and we will! There is a church arising within the church which is consumed with God’s purposes for this hour, compelled as His ambassadors to reconcile this world back to God (2 Cor 5:18-20). This church is filled with boldness, power and authority to accomplish the task.
Please inform Cindy Williams in my office if you desire to connect to this mission. She will further direct you as to how to proceed. You are powerful, destined for exploits, filled with the strength of God, and moving from faith to faith, glory to glory as you arise and fulfill God’s mandate. May you be empowered to do all that is in your heart to do this season. God has prepared us for just this time. FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
